Background: Born in Davenport, Ray attended Assumption High School and Coe College. His father was a teacher and coach at Assumption high school and his mother was a nurse. Ray has six brother and sisters. He embarked on a successful career in managing and owning restaurants across America. Upon returning to Davenport to help care for his widowed mother, he met his beautiful wife Aggie, and they raise their family in the 4th Ward.
